A review of Earls Barton Neighbourhood Plan is underway.
Earls Barton is a village and civil parish in Northamptonshire, notable for its Anglo-Saxon church and shoe-making heritage. The village is in the Borough of Wellingborough. At the time of the 2011 census, the population was 5,387. Earls Barton is renowned for its remarkable Anglo-Saxon heritage. Earls Barton village has an active social life, with many societies and voluntary organisations providing a variety of hobbies and interests.

Earls Barton Parish Council is deeply saddened by the death of former Parish Councillor George Blackwell. George was a true gentleman, committed to doing the best for Earls Barton. not only as a Parish Councillor, but also in his capacity of Borough and County Councillor. He will be sadly missed.
In 2021, Earls Barton Parish Council held a consultation which demonstrated the community was in support of the application of a loan towards the development of sport and community facilities at The Grange Sports Field. To progress this application, we now need to hold a follow-up consultation.
Earls Barton Parish Council are holding a Community Briefing event from 2pm-5pm on Tuesday 10th December at Earls Barton Library and Community Centre followed by a Public Meeting at 7pm on Monday 16th December at Earls Barton Primary School.
