PCSO Hurst advised that 14 crimes were reported in September. A police operation is in place to deal with incidents over Halloween and Firework Night. It was agreed that the Clerk should write to the police regarding an incident of anti-social behaviour on the Recreation Field, where some damage was sustained to lamp posts. The Clerk will also send a letter of apology to the police regarding an article placed in a village magazine by a member of the parish council, relating to an incident in High Street. It was noted that Cllr Cahill will attend the next panel meeting on 22 October 2009.
