(a) Blocked drain, Doddington Road – the blocked drains will be cleared and raised kerb instated 1 week from PC meeting.
(b) Parking – High Street – The Clerk will request a white line to be painted across the junction to Bowlers Yard. Illegally or dangerously parked vehicles should be reported to the police.
(c) Update on Village Centre Parking Restrictions and Traffic Calming – Cllr Blackwell reported that Helen Howard of NCC has put forward the Earls Barton Schools for the Safer Routes to School Scheme next financial year and has also agreed to upgrade the current Vehicle Activated Signs. It was agreed that the Clerk email Ms Howard to ask what traffic calming measures would be possible in conjunction with Safer Routes to School, ask for a 20mph speed restriction and ask for the zebra crossing on the Square to be upgraded to a pelican crossing and a additional crossing on West Street. The Clerk is also waiting for details of the current traffic regulations in Earls Barton from NCC. Cllr Blackwell is also to take up the ongoing problem of the unadopted land outside the school.
(d) Weeds on footpaths – The Clerk will contact NCC and the grounds maintenance contractors.
(e) Parking – Doddington Road/Clarke Court – The Clerk will reply to an email regarding parking issues.
