072/10 Parking Problems in Village Centre & Harrowick Lane - Restricted Parking |

Following discussions with NCC, we have been advised that parking regulations will be reviewed in the Borough of Wellingborough in the next 3-4 months. The Clerk will request in writing restricted parking of 4 hours for the village centre. In addition, double yellow lines will also be requested for one side of the bottom of Churchill Rd. The Clerk will write to Barkers asking for convenient dates for a meeting. In relation to Harrowick Lane, the clerk will contact the residents who have emailed regarding parking issues and advise them of the criteria which needs to be met before a residents parking scheme would be considered by NCC. The Parish Council will also look into what measurers need to be put into place to prevent further erosion to the bank adjacent to Harrowick Lane.
