(a) Crime Figures and Report – PCSO Natasha Fountain attended and advised that 11 crimes were reported in May. This is a significant reduction on April’s figure.
(b) Smart Water – PCSO Fountain advised that it would not be possible for the Parish Council to purchase Smart Water for use in households around the village as Smart Water is unique to each property. Therefore, householders would need to purchase it independently.
(c) Cold Call Free Zones update – The Clerk updated the members on the advice received from Trading Standards on Cold Call Free zones. Unfortunately, the whole village could not be covered by a zone but specific areas could be. The Clerk will contact PCSO Hurst regarding which areas should be included. A press release was approved.
