Sgt Dave Convery and PCSO Paul Hurst attended the meeting. Cllr Verden welcomed Sgt Convery as the new Sergeant of the Safer Community Team covering Earls Barton. PCSO Hurst advised that 10 crimes were reported in February. The next Community Panel meeting is due to take place 15 April. Speeding in Earls Barton will be requested as a priority. PCSO Hurst will also look into speeding lorries and buses in the village, parking outside the Londis and overhanging trees obscuring the new speed check area sign on Dowthorpe Hill.
