PUBLIC TOILETS IN EARLS BARTON

Earls Barton Parish Council is currently campaigning for public toilets to be re-instated in the village. Earls Barton has been deprived of public toilets for a number of years now. They were demolished by the Borough Council of Wellingborough, without the knowledge of Earls Barton Parish Council, whilst negotiations were still taking place to secure their future.

The Borough Council have refused on a number of occasions to replace the facilities. The Parish Council feel that this is unfair, as other communities in the Borough have been given new toilets.

There have always been public toilets in Earls Barton and they are desperately needed, both by our residents and by the numerous visitors the village attracts.

The Parish Council will be writing to the Chief Executive of WBC, to ask for the toilets to be re-instated, and we would like your support. If you feel strongly about this issue, please write to the Chief Executive of WBC, or to one of your local Borough Councillors to express your support.
